Last night at the regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen, Chairman Sullivan, speaking on behalf of the selectmen present at the meeting, publicly called for Senator Warren to retract her statement that labeled our country’s entire criminal justice system as racist and today, a statement on a national news program from Chief Wojnar, representing the MA Chiefs of Police Association rebuked the comments as well.
In 2015, the BOS committed their position to a resolution in support of local and national law enforcement officers. There are some issues that require us to speak-up.
Senator Warren, our community supports police officers and all public safety officials that are asked to do an impossible job on a daily basis. We have the ability to call-out those that do the wrong thing as individuals. Demonizing an entire system is lazy and on it’s face, discriminatory and small-minded. As elected officials, it is not what we stand for-

Tri-Valley’s program will also be highlighted and half hour seminars will be offered by Dudley Police at 10:00 am, Dudley Fire at 10:30 am, Tri-Valley Nutrition at 11:00 am and A Matter of Balance at 11:30 am.
