The Town of Charlton’s school system is part of the larger Dudley-Charlton Regional School District (DCRSD). The District encompasses 7 schools in Charlton and Dudley.  Bay Path is the Southern Worcester County Regional Vocational Technical District.

The Dudley School system is recognized as being one of the finest school systems in Massachusetts.

The Dudley-Charlton Regional School District is comprised of the towns Dudley and Charlton in Massachusetts. There are seven schools in total and close to 4,000 students were enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year. The high school is comprised of both towns and each town has three schools to educate grades from preschool to grade 8.
