Community Connections Event with National Grid

Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

National Grid and the Town of Webster are hosting a FREE community event that will answer questions on how you can save energy while staying warm this winter, questions about your bill or curious about what your local utility company is doing in your neighborhood.  This event is also an opportunity for you to let National Grid know how they are doing, in person.  Dozens of National Grid representatives will be on hand to hear your feedback about the service’s you receive and to provide energy information and helpful tips.  To register to attend, please visit www.ngcommunityconnection.com.

 

Finance, Appropriation & Advisory Committee needs members

The Finance Committee’s primary responsibility is to advise and make recommendations to Town Meeting on the budget and other financial matters. The Finance Committee is primarily responsible for reviewing the proposed budget submitted by the Town Administrator and forwarding it to the Board of Selectmen with its recommendations.  The Committee has control of the Reserve Fund as provided in Chapter 40 of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The Committee consists of nine (9) members serving a three year term.
