Since 2005, the DCLT has acquired twelve parcels of land in two towns (totaling almost 350 acres). The DCLT has its 501(c)3 non profit designation and provides community education via our semi-annual newsletters and environmental workshops. Presently, the DCLT is supported by over 150 members and a 9 member Board of Directors.
With ownership comes responsibility. Every property has a dedicated land steward that improves and maintains trials, checks boundary lines and protects its conservation values. Please give thanks to the stewards for their work, and remember to respect the property on your walks. Learn more about DCLT Sanctuary Rules & Guidelines.
